Where to buy dumpling squishies in the UK and US

UK and US shops selling dumpling squishies and NeeDoh, real shop prices vs resale prices, and how to spot fake or unsafe knock-offs.

Updated 2026-10-14

In the UK, branded Crazy Fun dumpling squishies are sold in supermarkets and toy shops, including Morrisons, Tesco, Asda, B&M, Smyths, The Entertainer and Argos, for about £4-£6 each. Genuine NeeDoh in the UK comes through its official distributor, Bigjigs Toys. In the US, Five Below is the main home of the RMS Mystery Dumpling at about $5, and NeeDoh is sold at Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Barnes & Noble, usually for under $15. Resale prices on Vinted, eBay and marketplaces can be several times higher, and that is also where most fakes turn up.

Prices checked October 2026. They come from the retailer pages listed in the sources, or from news reports where we say so. Stock changes daily and several NeeDoh lines were sold out when we checked.

Which? puts the original dumpling's usual shop price at around £6 and found stock at Jukupop (which also sells NeeDoh), The Entertainer (click and collect, no home delivery), Tesco, Asda, B&M and Smyths. GlitterBeam adds RMS's own toy site, abeec, and the TABASQUISHY UK site for its silicone dumplings, and notes that Amazon has cheaper options. We did not check prices on those sites, and cheaper Amazon listings may not be the RMS product.

NeeDoh

Bigjigs Toys is the official NeeDoh distributor for the UK and Ireland. Its own site showed these NeeDoh prices, but every one was sold out or discontinued when we checked:

NeeDoh Classic Groovy Glob£3.49Sold out
NeeDoh Dohjee (Series 2) 3 pack£7.99Discontinued
Cool Cats Super NeeDoh£14.99Sold out

Bigjigs says genuine NeeDoh in the UK and Ireland should show Bigjigs as distributor on the pack or a sticker, and that NeeDoh is not sold to consumers directly from China.

RMS USA released its Golden Ticket edition through Five Below in May 2026. Axios lists CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart and Barnes & Noble as NeeDoh stockists, and says Aldi has sold NeeDoh at low prices. Schylling publishes a list of authorised NeeDoh dealers on its website (we could not open it for this guide). TODAY says NeeDoh generally retails for under $15, and South Carolina officials put authentic NeeDoh at $4 to $13.

Many products on Walmart.com's "dumpling squishy" page did not show a brand. That does not make them unsafe, but it is harder to know who made them.

Price guide: shop price vs resale

Shop priceResale price reported
UK dumpling£4-£6Some Vinted listings over £20 (Which?)
US dumpling or NeeDohAbout $5-$15From about $6 to $45 or more, sometimes up to 10 times retail (Axios)
US NeeDohAbout $8, one customer's memory of the old priceAbout $30, the same customer said (KMUW)

The resale numbers are examples from news reports, not averages. Before paying a resale price, check whether the same item is just temporarily out of stock in shops; some toy shops release new stock one style at a time (KMUW).

How to spot a fake or unsafe knock-off

Not every unbranded squishy is dangerous, and not every lookalike is a counterfeit. The problem is copies that pretend to be a brand, or that skip testing. Use these checks together:

Packaging

  • NeeDoh: Bigjigs says genuine NeeDoh has the NeeDoh logo on the base seal and/or Schylling branding underneath, and comes in branded packaging. A Texas toy shop told KBTX that real NeeDoh boxes are matte with safety tape and the toy is not sealed in a plastic bag inside.
  • Crazy Fun dumplings: GlitterBeam says genuine ones carry RMS and Crazy Fun branding.
  • Fake tie-ins: South Carolina officials seized fake NeeDoh "Nice Cubes" with Sprite, Pepsi and McDonald's branding; Schylling does not partner with those companies. Westminster Council found fakes with Starbucks and Coca-Cola logos.
  • Missing details: the CPSC says to watch for misspellings, poor printing and no maker, importer, age grading or warnings. In the UK, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council's checklist is: maker name and address, importer if made outside the UK, UKCA or CE mark, batch code and clear warnings.

Smell and feel

  • Bigjigs says real NeeDoh has little or no smell and feels firm. Fakes may smell of chemicals or feel sticky, greasy, too soft or full of air bubbles.
  • Several UK councils say to bin any squishy with a strong chemical or petrol-like smell. One distributor told the Jersey Evening Post that smells can build up in sealed packs, but a strong smell is still the main warning sign.

Price and seller

  • The CPSC says to be wary of prices far below established shops.
  • MalwareTips reported fake NeeDoh websites that copy branding, claim to have every sold-out item in stock, offer large bundle discounts, and then send nothing or a counterfeit. A domain containing "NeeDoh" or "Schylling" does not make it official.
  • Which? warns that fakes often circulate second-hand. On Vinted or eBay, ask for photos of the base, the packaging and the label.
  • Pay by credit card or another method with buyer protection.
